In 2017, the format allowed 30 students to form 7 teams, which had been supported over 4 days on site with intensive coaching, guest lectures, and input sessions to build, test and evaluate prototypes within one week. The interdisciplinary teams from HSG and ETH presented business concepts based on the HSG Startup Navigator. Among the guest lecturers had been Dr. Caspar Coppetti, winner of the HSG Founder of the Year Award 2016 with the running shoe firm “On”, Simon Schminke, Partner at VC firm Creandum, and Martin Jaser, co-founder of Büffel Bill and course Alumnus. The prototyping sessions had been supported by Swisscom Pirates Hub. We congratulate all 7 teams to their efforts and investor-type pitches in front of an expert jury with participants from the “Institut für Jungunternehmen” (IFJ), Swisscom Pirates Hub, Startfeld and Startup@HSG.
